Well, who didn't see that coming? Obama got the democratic spot. SHOCKER! I honestly do not care though because with McCain as the Republican candidate, I'd already stopped caring about the election for 2008. For me, no matter which one takes the white house I'm already not gonna care because I dislike both of them. How's that for my first election? God knows what I'll do when I actually go to vote. Stupid politics.
I have the SAT this Saturday. I'm basically looking as forward to it as I would to having my testicles removed. It's mainly just the math section I'm dreading though, as I easily forget mathematic formulas that go beyong basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Asking me to memorize formulas, is like asking Paris Hilton to move to the slums of Mexico. Isn't humanly possible.
I also wanted to post this:
Sweeney is the man.
Question for this post:
What are your views on the death penalty? Do you believe in it? Are you against it? I wanna hear your thoughts on the subject.
Respond.
Seeya, fruity patooties.

I for one did not see Obama winning the DNC Nomination...because it hasn't happened yet. Hillary is not going to go down easily and she has not quit the race just yet.
I agree with you about the election though.
I am so totally pro death penalty its not funny.
I say send them to God and let him sort it out, because he is the one who knows and sees all.
Shamefully, I have not been keeping a good watch on what the candidates beliefs or plans are... so I have no idea who I'm voting for. I need to do my research, but I want to get both sides because I don't want to be one of those who votes for a candidate because the church tells me to, and I don't want to be someone who is influenced by a music video with all the celebrities singing about a certain candidate either.
The death penalty. I think that I am mostly anti-death penalty, except for a few cases.
I would have to say that Shawshank Redemption has always been one of those heart gripping movies that makes me question everything about the judicial system. That, and I just watched an episode of Veronica Mars where someone who was not guilty took the rap for another person's wrong doings. I don't think it helps that I've done jail time, and have developed a mistrust of law enforcement.
I just worry that some people who have gotten the death penalty might not be these horrible terrible murderers that people make them out to be. And a lot of the people on death row are a product of how society raised them. Some people are without priviledge. It really makes me think, because as humans we don't get to choose what families we're placed in or whether or not our parents abuse/abandon us.
I hate to say it in this way, because I'm so glad that I know Christ and his forgiveness, but one of the many reasons that I'm not in some gutter, strung out on drugs or whatever is not only because of the choices that I made, but it's because I was placed in a family, with a certain income, and a certain set of ideals and beliefs. Not everyone is so lucky. Most of the people on death row haven't had an extensive education and they didn't come from wealthy families... I know some of their personal choices led them to the place that they are, but how much of it is a case of nature and nurture?
Where do you stand on the death penalty, Bradley?
